The program is named in honour of Dave Evans, a long‑time team member who worked with us for 18 years across roles from Project Manager to Regional Manager and CPP President, before becoming Chief Operating Officer at Quanta Services Australia in 2023. A qualified electrician himself, Dave Evans was passionate about developing people, growing apprenticeships, and building capability across our industry. This program continues his legacy by providing training, mentorship, and opportunities for the next generation. Program Overview On‑the‑job training and rotations across projects and sites Off‑the‑job block/day release training delivered by TAFE NSW Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems Electrician upon completion Your Role as an Apprentice As an apprentice, you’ll rotate through different work environments and locations to develop essential technical skills, deepen your industry knowledge, and build a strong foundation for your career. You’ll gain hands‑on experience under the supervision of licensed electricians, working on some of Australia’s largest high‑voltage projects.
