Identity Architect - Data#3 Join to apply for the Identity Architect role at Data#3 6 month initial contract with possible extensions Mix of WFH and Central Sydney office An experienced Identity Architect is required to lead and uplift application onboarding patterns into Entra ID, define access governance approaches, and act as the senior escalation point for the Identity team. The role will guide existing Identity Engineers, provide architectural direction, and ensure consistent, high-quality integration design across the application portfolio. Key Responsibilities Architect the integration pattern for applications onboarding into Entra ID Define and propose access governance approaches aligned to organisational standards Provide senior technical guidance and act as the escalation point for Identity Engineers Support day-to-day operational responsibilities within the Identity team, including complex app registrations using SAML and OIDC Ensure best practice for application identity, authentication protocols, API permissions, conditional access, and related Entra ID controls Review and refine onboarding workflows, documentation, and technical patterns Support capability uplift and knowledge transfer across the team Troubleshoot and resolve high-complexity identity issues across Entra ID applications Skills and Experience Extensive experience architecting identity solutions in Entra ID (Azure AD) Deep hands-on expertise with SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, and application onboarding Strong understanding of identity governance, access patterns, and security controls Ability to translate requirements into scalable, secure integration designs Proven experience guiding engineers and acting as a senior escalation point Experience working with diverse, high-volume application portfolios Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Interested candidates who meet the required skillset of the role are encouraged to apply via the link with an updated resume.
