Responsibilities Support the Electrical operation of our Gas operated fleet. Contribute to Hydro’s renewable story. Planning and delivering electrical maintenance activities, including outages and routine work. Diagnosing and solving electrical issues using root cause analysis and predictive techniques. Maintaining accurate records in the CMMS and reporting on progress and trends. Providing technical advice and sourcing parts and services to keep the plant running smoothly. Collaborating with the team, sharing knowledge, and adapting to new technologies and changes. Keeping yourself and others safe by following safety systems, procedures, and regulations. Participating in the call‑out roster, liaising with contractors, and sourcing maintenance goods and services. Qualifications Qualified Electrical Technician with a current licence. Experience in LV/HV distribution, electrical testing, and fault finding. Skill in interpreting schematics, coordinating electrical activities, and leading teams. Strong problem‑solving abilities, planning skills, and a commitment to OH&S. Supervisory experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with computer systems. Desirable extras: instrumentation, fire protection systems, exposure to generation environments, HV switchyards, and industrial communication systems.
