Location: Head Office – Southern Tasmania (Hybrid working options) Employment Type Full-time, 2-year contract (with potential for extension based on the charity’s growth and evolving needs) Attractive salary sacrifice options as a PBI employer About Us The b kinder foundation is a national charity transforming lives through early intervention programs in schools, workplaces, and communities. Our mission is to reduce mental health challenges, bullying, and suicide by inspiring and empowering young people to be kinder, more compassionate humans. The Role – Ready to make a difference? As National Charity Coordinator , you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the foundation, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with our strategic goals. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to help guide our team, coordinate resources effectively, and foster strong relationships with our community and stakeholders. This role includes occasional national travel to attend b kinder workshops and events. Key Responsibilities Team Coordination: Mentor and support our small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, schools, and media. Program Development: Grow and strengthen b kinder programs and initiatives across schools, workplaces, and councils. Operations Management: Oversee digital platforms, administration, and logistical requirements. Fundraising: Support fundraising initiatives and identify new revenue streams, including grants, partnerships, and donations. Experience and Skills Ability to coordinate and oversee the operations of a busy, expanding charity. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while effectively supporting and motivating teams to achieve shared goals. Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and partnership development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with schools, workplaces, donors, and the public. A compassionate and empathetic communication style. A genuine passion for b kinder’s mission and vision, with the motivation to help expand our reach and amplify our impact. Experience working with primary and secondary schools or educational institutions.
