Field Service Technician – Underground Specialists – FIFO/DIDO Join or sign in to find your next job Join to apply for the Field Service Technician – Underground Specialists – FIFO/DIDO role at Sandvik Field Service Technician – Underground Specialists – FIFO/DIDO 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Field Service Technician – Underground Specialists – FIFO/DIDO role at Sandvik Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions Expressions of Interest Sandvik Mining and Rock SolutionsField Service Technician – Underground Specialists – FIFO/DIDOExpressions of Interest The roleWe are seeking skilled and enthusiastic HD Fitters and Auto Electricians to join our Field Service team , supporting key mining operations across Western Australia.As a Field Service Technician , you’ll play a vital role in providing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of Sandvik’s Underground Loaders, Trucks, and Drills .Join a diverse and hands-on role where you’ll tackle mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, vehicle control systems, and cutting-edge automation systems in underground environments.This role offers a fly-in-fly-out arrangement from Perth on 8:6 Roster, with travel to different customer sites across WA.Your Profile:Trade-qualified HD Fitter or Auto Electrician Experience with underground drill rigs, loaders, or trucks Strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer literacy and ability to complete service documentation Manual Driver’s Licence (essential) Able to pass pre-employment medical, police, reference checks, and regular drug & alcohol testing Desirable Experience & Attributes:Hands-on experience with Sandvik underground loaders and trucks, including: Loaders (LH series): LH203, LH307, LH410, LH514, LH517i, LH621i Trucks (TH series): TH320, TH430, TH551i, TH663i Familiarity with Sandvik underground drills, such as: Development drills: DD421, DD422i, DD422iE, DD212 Production drills: DL421, DL432i, DL421-15C Longhole or specialty drills: DS311, DS512i (bolters) Exposure to Sandvik AutoMine and OptiMine systems Willingness to travel interstate or internationally for training and development opportunities What We OfferTool of trade vehicle, work phone, iPad, and uniform provided Highly competitive wages, additional allowances, and annual bonus Favourable Superannuation contribution above statutory requirement.
