Electrical Project Coordinator – Commercial Projects We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to take a lead role in the delivery of commercial electrical projects across Western Australia. This position suits a highly capable electrical professional with strong commercial project experience who can independently coordinate complex projects, manage stakeholders, and support Project Managers in driving programme, cost, quality, and safety outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead coordination of commercial electrical projects from award to practical completion Act as the key interface between Project Managers, site supervisors, clients, and subcontractors Oversee labour planning, subcontractor engagement, and procurement of materials Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Manage RFIs, variations, progress claims, and project reporting Ensure compliance with WHSE legislation, Australian Standards, and contractual obligations Support project programming and forecasting, identifying risks and mitigation measures Drive quality outcomes including inspections, testing, and project close‑out documentation Qualifications & Experience Current WA Electrical Licence Experience coordinating commercial electrical projects in commercial construction environments (multi‑storey, retail, health, education, or similar) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Strong technical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot onsite issues Advanced communication and stakeholder‑management skills Experience supporting or stepping into Project Manager duties (Highly Desirable) Exposure to high‑value commercial contracts Strong understanding of cost tracking, variations, and commercial risk Experience with project systems, digital QA, or document control platforms What We Offer Senior role with autonomy and influence over project delivery Long‑term stability with a growing commercial electrical contractor Competitive salary package commensurate with experience Clear pathway into Project Management for the right candidate Apply via SEEK with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your commercial electrical project experience.
