SECURITY COORDINATOR Full Time ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property at the Cairns Convention Centre. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that the Centre is secure. Operate the Security Control Room and Security Front Desk. Assist with the coordination of event security. Assist with the management of emergency services and evacuation procedures for the Centre. ABOUT YOU You will have shared values and people‑centric mindset and genuinely want to make a difference. Flexibility to provide roster coverage for both event and non‑event days. You will value the safety of yourself, team and clients. You have minimum two (2) years’ experience in a Security Coordination role, preferably within the events or corporate security sector. You will hold a current QLD Class 1 Security license.
