Senior People Business Partner WorkCover Queensland is entering a new chapter, guided by strong executive leadership and our 2030 Strategy. Responsibility Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, you will work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams (ELT/SLT) to design and execute enterprise-level people strategies that elevate organisational performance, strengthen leadership, and embed a culture of excellence. This senior business partner role is strategic, commercial, and influential, requiring critical thinking, practical insight, and a transformational lens to address complex workforce challenges. You will translate WorkCover’s vision into enterprise-wide impact, coaching and influencing senior to executive leaders, aligning people initiatives with business priorities, and leveraging People Centres of Excellence and external partners to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. You will act as a strategic voice for the business, ensuring people strategies are actionable, commercially sound, and aligned with operational realities. Your work will strengthen leadership capability, embed a high-performance culture, and drive sustainable, measurable business outcomes across the organisation. This senior, transformational role operates with leaders across the organisation, requiring tact, agility, and the ability to pivot quickly in response to business priorities. You will provide insight and guidance that shapes decision-making, aligns stakeholders, and ensures people strategies deliver impact across the enterprise. Qualifications Proven track record of partnering exclusively with ELT and SLT to deliver transformative people strategies in fast-changing, complex, and ambiguous environments. Led enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen leadership, embed high-performance culture, and deliver measurable outcomes. Over five years’ experience in senior, enterprise-level people partnering roles, with credibility in influencing executive decision-making. Executive gravitas and diplomacy, guiding complex decisions, leading cross‑functional collaboration, aligning stakeholders, and shaping organisational strategy. Exceptional strategic judgment, able to interpret business and people cues, anticipate risks and opportunities, and execute practical, high-impact solutions with clarity and consistency. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
