This is a hands‑on role supporting the broader IGO People team working closely with leaders across various business units. You will support the team with first‑line people matters and provide guidance support coaching and education to stakeholders. A large part of this role includes the support of cyclical People activities and ensuring management and accuracy of People‑related data. The role will offer occasional site travel opportunities and is offered on a fixed‑term basis until January 2027. Why This Role Matters At IGO our people are our greatest asset. What You’ll Do End‑to‑end HR support ; Manage general enquiries on and offboarding inductions and immigration processes; Advice & Coaching; Coach leaders on people management and support performance and engagement programs; Industrial & Employee Relations; With support from the team advise on IR & ER matters including grievance investigations and disciplinary actions; Documentation & Data; Prepare contract variations secondment letters maintain accurate records update systems and ensure data integrity; Reporting & Activity tracking ; Manage cyclical People reporting requirements activity schedules and continuous improvement initiatives; and Manage Accounts ; support cost management and budget control in the People team by raising purchase orders and receipting invoices. What You’ll Bring Experience within a People / HR function performing generalist Advisor and administrative activities; Tertiary qualifications in HR (desirable); Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels; Highly developed organisational skills and a self‑driven approach to managing tasks and projects; A flexible approach and willingness to switch between administrative and advisor level activities; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (SuccessFactors and Pronto highly desirable); A recent National Police Clearance (within 2 months) Apply Today We value every applicant and commit to responding to all applications.
