Hybrid Posted 2 days ago Our client, one of the leading banking institution is looking for an experienced Midrange Engineer to manage and optimize midrange infrastructure across VMware, Windows, and Linux environments. The role involves performing migration projects, ensuring system stability, and supporting business-critical operations. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain VMware virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter). Manage Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. Execute Physical-to-Virtual (P2V) and Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V) migrations using VMware tools. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions. Document processes and provide knowledge transfer to support teams. Required Skills Strong experience with VMware virtualization technologies. Proficiency in Windows Server Administration and RHEL. Hands-on experience with P2V and V2V migrations. Solid understanding of networking and storage fundamentals. Knowledge of Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE). Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash). Exposure to hybrid cloud environments.
