Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience. School Information Glenwood High School is a 7–12 comprehensive, coeducational high school with an enrollment of just over 1,550 students, 63% from a non‑English speaking background. The school has a support unit of 30 students and was established in 2005 as a public‑private partnership with excellent resources and facilities. It offers 48 new flexible learning spaces created as part of a recent upgrade, providing teachers flexibility in teaching methods and opportunities to enhance student collaboration, communication and engagement. The school promotes a strong tradition of excellence within a progressive and highly structured teaching environment, offering a broad curriculum that supports diversity of learners and focuses on quality teaching, student engagement, restorative practices, innovative welfare and leadership within a technology‑embedded environment. High expectations for student conduct, achievements and future aspirations are central to the culture. Student leadership is emphasized through a prefect body, House Captains, SRC, Student Advocacy Team and student leaders. The school enjoys strong parental and community support and maintains positive relationships with partner primary schools. Responsibilities & Qualifications Specific Selection Criteria: Approval to teach Technology mandatory, and Industrial Technology - Timber. Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver lessons that support and extend all learners, including those with high potential, through practical and achievable differentiation strategies. Proven capacity to create engaging learning environments that support student success in both theory and practical lessons. Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work positively and collaboratively within the TAS faculty and contribute to whole‑school programs. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity. Employment Status This advertisement qualifies for permanent part‑time employment; therefore, applicants seeking either permanent full‑time or permanent part‑time work are encouraged to apply.
