Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Eastern Health Location: Eastern region of Melbourne, Australia About the role Eastern Health is seeking a motivated, highly skilled and team‑focused Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support our growing department. You will operate Siemens SPECT and SPECT/CT equipment, and join us in the launch of a brand‑new PET/CT service in August 2024. Key responsibilities include: Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures on SPECT and SPECT/CT scanners. Assist in the establishment and support of the team for the new PET/CT service. Maintain quality assurance and safety protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to provide optimal patient care. About you Recognised Nuclear Medicine qualification. Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Nuclear Medicine Technologist). Current Victorian Radiation Use Licence (or eligibility for one). Highly developed interpersonal and clinical skills with a strong commitment to care. Driver’s licence. Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role; you must provide evidence of current COVID‑19 booster and Influenza vaccination prior to commencing employment.
