About the Centre The City of Melbourne is redeveloping the Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre located within JJ Holland Park in Kensington. The new $68.2 million environmentally sustainable facility is due to open in September 2025 and will feature a heated 25‑Metre 8‑Lane Pool, 700 m² Health Club, three multipurpose courts, three large flexible spaces and a café. About the Role As a Swim Teacher at KCARC, you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school‑aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students. Structure and design lessons with appropriate activities that challenge and develop your students' swimming and water safety ability Recommend students for level progression as appropriate Teach and model effective problem solving skills and conflict resolution skills This is a casual role with an hourly rate up to $33.37 + super & Y Benefits. About You You will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people. Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary.
