Solar Operations Coordinator (Metering & Grid Connection) Solar Panel Install Pty Ltd – Gladesville NSW Location: Sydney NSW Job Type: Full‑time / Part‑time About Us Autra Batteries Australia is a fast‑growing renewable‑energy company focused on solar and battery solutions. We partner with accredited installers and energy providers to deliver reliable, efficient and sustainable clean‑energy systems for homes and businesses. About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Solar Grid Connection & Metering Coordinator to manage solar and battery connection applications and meter reconfiguration processes across NSW, QLD, SA and other states. You will work closely with electricians, energy retailers, DNSPs and metering providers to ensure smooth and compliant grid connections for our customers. This role requires an immediate start date to support our growing project pipeline. Key Responsibilities Prepare and lodge solar/battery grid‑connection applications to DNSPs (Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy, Energex, SA Power Networks, etc.) Submit meter reprogramming/service orders and track progress Use DNSP portals to upload documents and maintain job status Verify site information (NMI, address, meter type, inverter size, CTS/SAPN templates, etc.) Liaise with electricians, metering providers and retailers to ensure timely approvals Communicate project updates and timelines to customers and internal teams Maintain digital records of approvals and compliance documentation Skills & Experience ✅ Experience in solar admin / metering coordination / energy compliance (required) ✅ Knowledge of DNSP connection processes (NSW or multi‑state preferred) ✅ Strong attention to detail & accuracy in documentation ✅ Excellent written & verbal communication skills ✅ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines ✅ Proficiency in Excel, Word and online portals ✅ Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in solar admin, metering coordination or energy compliance Australian work rights required for this position Bonus Skills (not required but advantage) Experience with solar retailer portals or CEC submission platforms Understanding of meter types (single‑phase, 3‑phase, smart meter) Solar retailer / installer company background Familiarity with NETCC compliance and STCs Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Flexible working time Career growth opportunities in a fast‑expanding renewable‑energy company Supportive, collaborative and innovative team culture How to Apply Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience with solar metering or grid‑connection applications to: *****@autrabatteries.com Subject: Application – Solar Operations Coordinator (Metering & Grid Connection) Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
