With a newly renovated event space, it is an exciting opportunity to coordinate special functions in this venue. THE BRAND Catering HQ is a family‑run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 15 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service. THE ROLE Your primary responsibility is the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations whilst developing and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and customer expectations are exceeded. This role also has operational requirements and is a hands‑on role. Build and maintain customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities Acquire and follow up on leads including preparing and presenting event proposals Assist with end‑to‑end event coordination from sales to set up and delivery of an amazing event Update venue event packages as required Generate new business opportunities Attend appropriate industry/networking events SKILLS & EXPERIENCE A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role which includes event sales Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering (or similar events program) Proven ability to drive sales Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills Exceptional attention to detail Passionate approach to sales Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines Positive and flexible attitude Self‑directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision The team at Catering HQ works hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for all, and most importantly, we’re all about creating a more sociable future – for our customers and for each other WHY JOIN US Lunch on us while on shift Discount on coffee while on shift Discounts from our suppliers such as Vittoria Coffee Career progression Internal and external training opportunities If you feel you possess these qualities and are interested in becoming part of the team, please APPLY NOW .
