Pre-Construction Manager / Senior Estimator – Commercial Fitout Sydney | Full-Time | $120,000 - $150,000 Join a high-performing commercial builder delivering premium office, retail & hospitality fitouts. The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Pre‑Construction Manager / Senior Estimator to take ownership of our tendering, pricing, and early‑stage project planning across a range of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects. This is a visible, influential role where you’ll work closely with clients, directors, and delivery teams to shape project outcomes from concept through to contract award. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and manage the pre-construction and estimating function across multiple commercial fitout projects Prepare detailed tenders, BOQs and cost plans using industry-standard software Review drawings, scope, specifications, addendums and tender documentation Coordinate subcontractor pricing, negotiate rates, and build strong supplier relationships Provide accurate cost-planning advice during early design stagesConduct value engineering and risk assessments to ensure competitive and compliant submissionsPresent tenders to clients and participate in contract negotiation Work closely with project managers to ensure scope alignment and smooth project handover Drive improvements in estimating systems, processes and accuracy Mentor junior estimators and contribute to building a high‑performance team About You Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Pre‑Construction Manager within commercial fitout, refurbishment, or construction Strong understanding of construction methodology, cost planning, and subcontractor procurement Confident communicator — able to lead presentations, negotiate, and build client trust Experience interpreting architectural, structural, services and detailed fitout drawings Skilled with Cubit, Buildsoft, Bluebeam or similar estimating software Highly organised with strong attention to detail Commercially astute, understanding margins, risk, and profitability Able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously Why Join Us?
