Finance Manager

We’re partnering with a leading mining business seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial and commercial functions across their operation. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a collaborative team, driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. About the Role The Finance Manager is responsible for leading all financial and commercial aspects of the mining operation, with a strong focus on warehousing. This role ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while driving cost control and supporting operational decisions. The Finance Manager works closely with mine management, the corporate finance team, and external partners to deliver strong financial outcomes and optimise supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management for the site Oversee warehousing, inventory control, and procurement, ensuring stock accuracy, cost efficiency, and compliance with corporate guidelines Analyse operational costs and identify opportunities for savings and process improvement Manage and negotiate financial and vendor contracts, ensuring value, compliance, and risk mitigation Provide financial insights to support decisions on capital projects, equipment purchases, and business planning Maintain robust internal controls and ensure timely, accurate reporting in line with accounting standards Lead and develop a high-performing finance team focused on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement About You Degree in Accounting or Commerce with CA/CPA qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior finance or commercial role within mining or heavy industry Proven experience using SAP and Xeras Strong commercial acumen with a focus on cost optimisation and process improvement Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business The Offer 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to transition to a permanent role Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnight roster Supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work within a respected resources business To have a discussion about this role, please call Ariella Razif on or email #J-18808-Ljbffr
