About the Team The Line 1 Risk and Compliance team supports the Risk Division in day-to-day management of risk and compliance activities and helps embed ASX's operational risk and compliance strategy. Responsibilities Support the Senior Line 1 Risk and Compliance Partner in maturing Line 1 risk and compliance capability and practices within ASX's Risk Division Develop a deep understanding of the Risk Division and become a trusted adviser to Risk business units on risk, compliance and control initiatives Lead and coordinate risk and compliance assessment activities, including control testing, reasonable steps assessments and action plans to improve the control environment Provide input to board reporting, regulatory reporting and prepare information packs for risk working groups and meetings Work with key stakeholders within Risk and across the ASX to embed the Operational Risk Management and Compliance Frameworks Coordinate and prepare the monthly risk forum packs Mandatory Qualifications Experience working in a Line 1 or Line 2 risk team, preferably within the Financial Services industry Experience in risk and compliance assessments, control testing and issue / incident management Experience providing risk advice on large, complex projects Ability to grasp key concepts quickly and challenge the status quo Strong relationship building and collaboration skills across teams Excellent planning, prioritisation and deadline-management skills Strong communication skills – oral, written and presentation Preferred Qualifications Operational process knowledge within an exchange or trading environment Understanding of key market obligations such as Market Integrity and ASX Participant Compliance Knowledge of financial risk or model risk Experience with business continuity / disaster recovery frameworks Experience designing and building risk reporting dashboards Additional Information We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all criteria.
