To learn more about Lady Gowrie Tasmania visit / The role : Lady Gowrie is seeking passionate and experienced Team Leader to lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators for Lansdowne Outside School Hours Care (Permanent Part-Time : 25 hours per week) In this role, you will : Act as the Responsible Person in accordance with National Law and Regulations, taking day-to-day charge of the service. Lead and mentor educators to deliver tailored, quality play-based programs. Maintain a safe, inclusive environment meeting all legal and regulatory obligations as well as NQF and LGT requirements. Strong capability to develop and maintain respectful relationship with children, families and staff. Excellent communication skills that are open and effective across diverse audience. Leadership capability to guide and support a small team effectively. Hold and maintain Tasmanian Registration of Working with vulnerable People (child-related activity – childcare services) ACECQA-approved First Aid qualifications, Child Safety Training & Food Safety Training (or ability to obtain) Experience in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) or child related activities Ability to undertake the role of Responsible Person, including knowledge of the National Quality Framework and effective supervision and management of staff, families, and other stakeholders Certificate III, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable) How to apply : Submit your CV and a brief cover letter telling us why you are the right person for a Team Leader role via the "Apply Now" button.
