Group Product Manager - Service NSW Digital Services Join to apply for the Group Product Manager role at NSW Department of Customer Service. Base pay range A$162,296.00/yr - A$195,248.00/yr Key details Grade: SNSW Grade 11/12 – A$162,296 to $195,248 Employment: 2 ongoing full‑time positions Location: Haymarket, Gosford or Parramatta – hybrid with 2 days in office each week About the role The Group Product Manager role is responsible for developing a cohesive vision and strategic direction for several multi‑disciplinary teams and/or a group of products or services. It establishes an effective product team culture and capability to support the development and management of Service NSW products that deliver meaningful customer value and support policy and government objectives. Responsibilities Lead a group of passionate product managers, mentoring and growing them to achieve personal and organisational goals. Establish the group's vision, strategy, and outcome‑based roadmaps, considering success metrics and go‑to‑market strategies. Identify and address high‑risk products or initiatives at the right time to enable timely delivery. Foster connected teams across multiple product portfolios, communicating effectively at all levels internally and externally. Ask the right questions, help teams craft solutions, and deliver validated digital products to users. Communicate clearly with everyone to continuously improve teamwork, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and a customer‑centric mindset. Qualifications and experience Product Management experience in a lean environment, having shipped digital products with great customer experience and journeys. Strong facilitation leadership skills. Excellent stakeholder management, establishing relationships and leading discussions with partners and executives. Collaborative across the organisation, resolving problems proactively. Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps. Capable of creating strategies, outcome‑based roadmaps, iterating as required, and delivering artefacts within agreed timeframes. History of contributing beyond product development. Location details Support office roles will be headquartered across McKell, Parramatta and Gosford. Headquarters can be outside these locations if role can be performed from that location and can attend a NSW Government workplace as required.
