The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will provide support to medical specialists in the management of a broad case-mix in adult medical, surgical and rehabilitation inpatients. To be successful, St Vincent's Lismore expect; excellent clinical skills and judgment with demonstrated competency. Safe effective patient care is essential. Experience in critical care, cardiology, emergency medicine and / or anaesthetics would be viewed very favourably. Demonstrated clinical experience in adult hospital medicine and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team of health / allied health care professionals and an understanding of The National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. Essential MBBS/MD or equivalent; Medical Practitioner - AHPRA Registration; Advanced Life Support (ALS) Accreditation; Minimum three years full time postgraduate experience in the Australian healthcare system The right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident) to be considered eligible to apply for this position National Criminal History Check (NCHC) (under 3 months since issue date) Working with Children Check (WWCC) Meet the vaccination requirements for a NSW Health Category A position, excluding COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccinations.
