About the role The Media Manager is responsible for managing and executing media relations to enhance the public image and communication efforts of the Inner West Council. This senior role will involve creating media content, overseeing media relations, monitoring social media platforms and crafting messaging that aligns with the Council’s goals and policy initiatives. The Media Manager will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of political communications and media landscapes. The role will report to the Senior Manager Communications and Engagement and will be the primary point of contact for media inquiries and liaison with Mayor and Councillors. Remuneration A competitive remuneration commensurate to the duties and responsibilities of the role will be negotiable with the successful candidate. This position will have access to Council's motor vehicle lease back scheme.
