You’ll spend your days visiting people in their homes in Hervey Bay and Maryborough and around the community - no two days look the same, but each one makes a difference. You’ll help with: Delivering care that’s tailored to each person’s needs and Care Plan Personal care, mobility support, and medication reminders Preparing meals and supporting good nutrition Providing respite - whether it’s at home or out and about Lending a hand with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, bed making, and shopping Offering social support that keeps people connected to what (and who) matters most Most days, you’ll use your own reliable car to visit customer homes and help with transport in the community. At times, a company vehicle may be assigned to support your work. This is a permanent part-time role (48 hours per fortnight), with a set roster between Monday and Friday, 8am - 5pm. We’ll work with your availability, for example, a typical roster might be Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm. You will Thrive in this role if you Love getting to know people and building real, lasting connections Show up with compassion, reliability, and respect - every time Feel confident working independently while staying connected to your local community Genuinely care about helping older Australians live life the way they choose Have experience in aged care, disability support, or community work - a Certificate III is great, but heart and know-how matter just as much Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence and have a reliable vehicle Have (or are happy to get) First Aid, CPR, and a National Criminal History Check Belonging Starts Here We believe real care starts with real belonging.
