You will be supported across all steps of your journey to develop your clinical expertise across the NDIS and the community. As a Speechie in our team you will help participants from age 6 to 65, across language, mealtimes, dysphagia, aphasia and AAC. Day‑to‑day you will: Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients’ homes to day centres, parks and our clinic rooms. Collaborate with a committed MDT to develop innovative solutions for your clients. Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work. What makes us Better? Our program starts you off with a full week of graduate‑specific induction sessions, including a comprehensive introduction to community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab. Support: You’ll be surrounded by colleagues who support you through challenges including a buddy from last year’s graduate cohort to answer questions and provide guidance. Supervision: Mentorship by a discipline‑specific 1:1 Supervisor to help you navigate all areas of working with Better Rehab, including your transition into fulltime work within your new office. They will also provide clinical support within the NDIS and your caseload. Ongoing Training: 6 months of dedicated induction, training and upskilling to set you up for the rest of the program and your future career. Study Leave: 4 full days paid study leave per calendar year. Resources: The works‑ laptop, phone + all of our sites have therapy and assessment resources ready to grab and go. Better Rewards Program: Earn bonus pay or extra leave, or redeem points for PD, gadgets and experiences Paid Parental Leave: 8 weeks for the primary carer and 2 for the secondary carer. Travel Reimbursement: Work‑related travel paid monthly at 92c per KM under the NDIS Regulated Reimbursement category. National Opportunities: across 30 Australian sites. About You We’re after Speechies with a genuine interest in supporting participants with Disability who get restless when they see room for improvement and aren’t afraid to speak up about it. Who have a fire in their belly about participant care and treat participant goals like personal missions, not just checkboxes on a form. Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with a graduation date in 2025 or January 2026. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. An NDIS check, a Working with Children Check, and a Police Check (or willing to obtain).
