About The Role As the Clinical Quality and Safety Manager, you will lead clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives across RFDS Victoria. This is a strategic and hands‑on role focused on embedding best practice, ensuring compliance with national standards and supporting organisational accountability and delivery of high‑quality care. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the Clinical Quality and Safety Framework Oversee clinical governance and risk management processes, ensuring compliance with accreditation and legislative requirements Monitor and report on quality and safety performance indicators, using data to drive improvement Manage clinical incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions Champion evidence‑based quality improvement initiatives and mentor teams in best practice To Be Successful, You Will Need Tertiary qualifications in health, clinical governance or health management Current registration as a health professional (e.g., nursing, allied health or medical practitioner) At least seven years’ experience in a clinical setting, including five years in a quality or safety‑related role Strong knowledge of clinical governance frameworks, accreditation standards and risk management principles Ability to analyse data, interpret trends and implement evidence‑based improvements A collaborative approach and the ability to coach and engage others in quality and safety practices Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Driver Licence, National Police Check, Working with Children Check and the right to work in Australia Our Benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Salary packaging: up to $15,900 for everyday expenses + $2,650 for meals each Fringe Benefit Tax year Five non‑accruable Office Closure Leave days each year Fitness passport – a discounted gym membership to gyms and pools that both you and your family can enjoy Enjoy a full‑time role with flexible work arrangements to work from home and at our offices, as well as options for purchased leave Great parental leave benefits in addition to government parental leave Application To access the position description and to apply please click the “Apply” button to be redirected to our Career Centre.
