Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:This role is responsible for the efficient and compliant delivery of the lines maintenance packages in line with the Network Services works delivery program.The role requires the management and leadership of teams to implement management methodology, financial management, control and governance, development and implementation of initiatives, project/program reporting and forecasting, quality control achievement of compliance with our policies and procedures.This role can be based at any Powercor major center.What you’ll deliver:Influence teams from across the business to ensure that the program is delivered to a high level of quality and in a timely and efficient manner.Keep abreast of industry changes and create strategies to ensure the relevance of the business in a dynamically changing market.Communicate and impart strategies and complex ideas to all levels (from board to field delivery team members).Manage the Inspection and program based lines maintenance program to optimise lifespan, cost, performance, reliability, and safety.Provide program and technical support to the field-based workforce in carrying out the maintenance activities.Accurately forecast annual expenditure by region to support accurate resource and program planning.Create regional (depot) based program plans spanning asset inspection through to field delivery.Deliver on time and on budget for all associated project and program responsibilities to ensure bushfire mitigation strategies are effectiveContribute to a culture that is focused on workplace continuous improvement through identifying and supporting improvement initiatives and opportunities.To succeed in this role you’ll have:Tertiary qualification in an Engineering, Project Management, Construction or Management disciplineDetailed understanding of overhead line asset maintenance processes and systems including overhead line regimes/ techniquesDetailed knowledge of all aspects associated with project management & business managementStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact / influence / negotiate effectively at all levels of management and with peersProven ability in business communications to manage and align expectations of staff, customers and internal stakeholdersKnowledge and understanding of all relevant regulations including, Occupational Health Safety Act, lines technical standards and codesExtensive experience in the power industry in the areas of project management, construction and/or operations.Your career with us:We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes.
