As the Risk & Policy Advisor , you’ll champion a robust risk culture across Infinite Aged Care guiding leaders, shaping effective policies, and ensuring risks are identified, understood, and well managed. Your work will strengthen compliance, support operational teams, and help safeguard the wellbeing of residents and staff. In Summary Lead and enhance the organisation’s Risk Management Framework, including monitoring risks, supporting incident reviews, and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Register. Provide expert risk management advice to operational leaders and escape significant risks to senior management. Develop, review, and update organisational policies and procedures in line with legislation, standards, and best practice. Coordinate the Policy Review Committee and ensure complex regulatory information is translated into clear, accessible documents. Support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities, including audits, accreditation, and regulatory reviews. Ensure policies and processes meet Aged Care, NDIS, WHS, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with organisational and legislative obligations. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support risk, quality, and compliance initiatives. About You 3–5 years’ experience in residential aged care in a policy development or risk role (or equivalent) Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance frameworks. In‑depth knowledge of regulatory reform and sector changes within the Australian Aged Care environment. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. High‑level written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and apply legislation, standards, and compliance frameworks. Proven competence in technical writing and document management. Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders. Proficiency with clinical information systems, incident management platforms, and Microsoft Office applications (desirable).
