The Opportunity:Lead and manage challenging and complex water and wastewater projects throughout all phases of design.Provide mentoring and support for other engineers working within the water team and foster ongoing capability and skills building within the team.Work without supervision, referring up as necessary. In achieving this you will be responsible for meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets, and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area.Represent Arup at internal and external events and you may be responsible for designing and delivering events, activities and projects which impact the business.Take responsibility for the performance and development of others through providing guidance, training, direction and feedback.At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Is this role right for you?Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering or similar area.Relevant industry experience in the water industry within a consulting business environment.Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&SExperience with internal and external stakeholder management.
