Key Responsibilities Identifiesstrategies to promote and embed a learning culture thatsupports positive patient outcomes and delivery of a patientcentred service. Collaborates withthe Unit Manager in development and management of orientationand performance development programs to meet the education andtraining needs of nursing / midwifery staff within theunit. Collaborates withthe Unit Manager to determine personal and professionalcompetencies integral to care delivery in the local unit andrequired of nursing / midwifery staff. Under the directionof the Unit Manager oversees all individual staff performanceappraisal and development activities within the unit. Thisposition seeks professional guidance and professionalsupervision from the Nurse Director -Education.
