Overview General Practitioner – ADF Health Services at Serco, Richmond North, New South Wales, Australia. As a civilian GP working with the Australian Defence Force, you will provide essential medical care to ADF members on RAAF Base Richmond. Key Responsibilities Deliver primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence policies. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to maintain the health and wellbeing of Defence personnel. Assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and support health through pre‑ and post‑deployment care. Provide medical technical advice to Joint Health Unit (JHU) Commanding Officer, Joint Health Command (JHC) Health Centre Manager and unit Commanders. Support the team of Senior Medical Officers and uniformed colleagues. Deliver services in either an outpatient setting or inpatient ward. Required Qualifications Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration. Minimum of 2 years full‑time postgraduate GP experience within the last 5 years (or part‑time equivalent). Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities per AHPRA requirements. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Additional Requirements Australian citizenship to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
