The role is designed to advance theological and Catholic leadership formation across Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). In this capacity, you will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative formation programmes that support principals, senior leaders and staff in deepening their capacity for faith leadership, aligned with the MACS Faith Formation Framework and the MACS 2030 Strategic Vision. You will offer expert strategic advice to enhance school leadership in mission, support accreditation pathways, and contribute to system‑wide strategies that drive school improvement through a Catholic lens. With a strong foundation in Catholic theology, educational leadership and project management, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering faith‑informed leadership across MACS schools. What You Will Do Provide strategic guidance and formation to strengthen Catholic leadership at school and system levels. Design, implement and evaluate formation programmes grounded in theology, spirituality and the MACS Faith Formation Framework. Drive accreditation and professional learning pathways that build leadership capability aligned with MACS’s mission and 2030 strategic priorities. Apply research, evidence and evaluative insights to inform faith leadership strategy and ensure ongoing programme refinement. Collaborate with MACS directorates, parishes and Archdiocesan partners to foster integration of liturgical, theological and faith formation initiatives. Contribute to CMI projects that promote Catholic identity, evangelisation and mission‑informed school improvement. About You A practicing Catholic, actively engaged in a Eucharistic community with a clear commitment to the evangelising mission of the Church and Catholic education. Extensive experience in Catholic educational leadership with a sound understanding of the formation and professional needs of principals, senior leaders and staff. Strong theological, liturgical or religious education background with the capacity to translate these insights into impactful formation and leadership development programmes. Proven project and change management skills, with a track record of designing and delivering strategic, mission‑aligned initiatives. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build trusted relationships across multiple levels. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, apply evidence‑informed practices and deliver results in a dynamic, values‑driven environment.
