Gearbox & Hydraulic Supervisor - Nepean Longwall, Paget Mackay Location: Paget, Mackay, QLD Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Roster: Standard workshop hours / flexible shifts Nepean Longwall is seeking an experienced Gearbox & Hydraulic Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in Paget, Mackay. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of longwall equipment through expert management of gearbox and hydraulic systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate workshop maintenance activities focused on gearboxes and hydraulic systems Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of tradespeople and apprentices Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards Manage inventory of parts, tools, and hydraulic fluids Liaise with operations and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues efficiently Skills & Experience Required Trade qualification or equivalent in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems Proven experience with gearboxes and hydraulic systems in a mining or heavy industrial environment Previous supervisory or leadership experience Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills We Offer Competitive remuneration package Career development and progression opportunities Safe and supportive work environment Relocation assistance for the right candidate Join Nepean Longwall and lead a team driving reliability and excellence in mining operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
