Our service provides guests with the opportunity to stay in amazing spaces centrally located to the Melbourne CBD, Marvel Stadium and other attractions. The Melbourne Lifestyle Apartments' Concierge Team is on hand to assist with guest check in, special requests such as extra beds/linen, small maintenance issues, luggage storage and anything else guests may require during their stay. Can you consistently meet deadlines and enjoy the challenges of working independently? Then our multi-dimensional Guest Concierge role is the one for you. We have a full-time role available for immediate start. Melbourne Lifestyle Apartments is looking for a customer service superstar with valid work rights to join our Concierge team in Docklands, Melbourne. This is a task-based role, offering plenty of autonomy whilst being involved with a supportive and lively team. Initially working 9am to 6pm Wednesday to Sunday, you'll get to play to your strengths and take on the tasks that best suit them. This is fantastic for someone entering the hospitality, tourism or real estate industry and looking for a full-time position. It is a diverse role involving communications and email management as well as hands on guest interaction, completing special requests and checking apartments. As the heart of our business, you'll never miss a beat, checking in guests at luxury apartments, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during their stay, inspecting apartments after check out and coordinating the preparation of apartments to get them 'guest ready' for the next check in. You'll be joining a market leading organisation that is rapidly expanding. You will work with a knowledgeable and supportive team to help you meet your career goals. Previous experience is not necessary, although it may assist. We are looking for the right person to fit in with our dynamic team. Full training and guidance will be provided as required. Who you are You are self-motivated and can work alone or as part of a team; You take pride in your appearance, presentation and hygiene; You have good written and verbal communication skills; You understand the expectations of high paying guests; Nothing gets overlooked with your keen eye for detail; You have an excellent work ethic, integrity beyond reproach and accept responsibility for your actions; You provide excellent and timely follow-up to guests and management; You make informed decisions and apply sound judgement; You have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks. You have proven conflict resolution skills You have one to two years of customer service experience. What you will do Oversee the day to day operation of the front of house and back‑office of the business Coordinate with Reception and cleaning staff to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner Meet and greet guests, Entry, exit and routine inspections, Troubleshoot property issues during guest stay including communicating with and coordinating contractors to resolve issues, Undertake minor maintenance when required Follow up on email correspondence with guests pre and post stay, Ensure full and correct inventory of linen stock, consumable items, and individual property stock, Other duties as required, within the incumbent's skill set.
