Domestic Assistant

About the role: As a casual Domestic Assistant, you will be required to travel to multiple clients' homes throughout the day and week to provide basic household services such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the bathroom and toilet, bed‑making, dishwashing, laundry, ironing, hanging clothes out, assistance with meal preparation, and unaccompanied shopping. You will be responsible for ensuring that service recipients' homes are kept clean, hygienic, and homely according to the individual's needs and wishes. Responsibilities: Travel to multiple clients’ homes to deliver domestic support services. Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, and dishwashing. Assist with meal preparation and unaccompanied shopping. Help with laundry, ironing, and hanging clothes. Provide support to the elderly and people with disabilities. Requirements: Previous domestic cleaning experience. Own vehicle and comfortable driving to and from clients’ homes. Ability to work on a casual basis with multiple clients (2‑hour shift per client). Understanding and willingness to support the elderly and people with a disability. Reliable smartphone compatible with the AlayaCare App (iOS 15+ or Android 9+). Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence and Car. Current National Police Check. Current Working with Children’s Check (Employee Type). Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
