Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? We are seeking a motivated Management Accountant to join our Finance Team at Greensill Farming. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has built a strong foundation in accounting and is looking to develop skills in financial analysis, reporting, and operational accounting. You will gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of finance functions and work closely with senior finance staff to build real‑world management accounting skills. About the Role As an integral member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting end‑of‑month processes, and delivering timely financial insights to assist informed decision‑making. This role involves a blend of operational accounting tasks and management reporting, offering exposure across multiple areas of the business. Key Responsibilities Prepare weekly financial and production performance reports. Support end‑of‑month processes, including reconciliations, costings, accruals, and management reporting. Coordinate monthly stocktakes and ensure accurate inventory valuation. Assist with weekly cashflow projections and liquidity monitoring. Maintain fixed asset registers and support equipment loan management. Help manage the insurance portfolio and oversee insurance claims to settlement. Process bank payment approvals and lodge all statutory compliance reports (e.g. BAS, payroll tax, superannuation, ATO). Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular general ledger coding checks to ensure data integrity and correct cost allocation. Provide backup for payroll and accounts payable functions. Support financial literacy across the business and promote understanding of key performance drivers. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and system efficiencies. About You You will bring a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail, along with the ability to work collaboratively across finance and operations. Ideally, you will have: Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Experience in financial or management accounting roles. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and a willingness to support others.
