Overview Join the Clinical Nurse Educator role at NSW Health. This position is based at Glen Innes District Hospital, part of Hunter New England Health, where you will contribute to educating staff and enhancing patient care while enjoying the scenic beauty of the region. Position Details Remuneration: $56.98 – $58.83 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging Employment type: Permanent part‑time, temporary part‑time until Jan 2026 Hours per week: 32 Position classification: Clinical Nurse Educator Location: Glen Innes District Hospital, NSW Requisition ID: REQ Applications close: Sunday, 7 Dec 2025 Responsibilities Deliver competent nursing education across the hospital. Contribute to the development of colleagues and identify learning needs. Support less‑experienced staff and act as preceptor for new staff when delegated. Support the orientation of new staff to the hospital. Provide day‑to‑day clinical education support and supervision at point of care. Provide 1:1 informal education. Support skill development in clinical procedures, professional development, and clinical policy development. Implement and evaluate education programs. You will be supported by the Health Service Manager, Nurse Unit Managers, and a thorough orientation program, including supernumerary days. Ongoing professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported by leadership. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse registered with AHPRA. Relevant clinical or educational post‑registration qualifications and clinical experience.
