Carmichael Kids Early Learning Centre – Morayfield QLD Interseed is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Creekside Café and the Carmichael College Tuckshop. In this role you will create an inviting environment, lead the teams and ensure the provision of delicious food, serving our local community. Role responsibilities Coordinate efficient and effective operation of Creekside Café and Carmichael College Tuckshop. Foster a positive environment for staff, students and customers, providing a consistent, efficient, friendly and welcoming service. Ensure Qld Smart Choices guidelines are followed for the Carmichael College Tuckshop. Develop and maintain a tuckshop menu which is nutritious and financially sustainable. Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences in the Creekside Café. Ensure supplies are stocked to agreed par levels. Order / purchase supplies as required. Support the health, safety and well-being of customers, staff and volunteers by ensuring all health regulations and food safety practices are met. Develop and implement procedures to ensure the effective operations of the Carmichael College Tuckshop and Creekside Café. Recruit, train, and supervise Carmichael College Tuckshop and Creekside Café staff. Ensure the appropriate stewardship of resources in both Carmichael College Tuckshop and Creekside Café. About you Previous food and beverage management experience. Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Skilled in leading a team and delegating tasks. High level of communication skills. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food and beverages regulations and best practices. Ability to manage a budget and meet financial targets. Food safety competency/certificate. First Aid and CPR certificates. Current "blue card" Working with Children Check is required. What we offer We are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
