Job Description The Animal Emergency Centres (AECs) provide premier after‑hours vet care to sick and injured pets and are part of the largest emergency and specialist group in Australia. Moorabbin AEC is relocating to a newly built site that will offer speciality services as a multi‑disciplinary centre. About the Role We are seeking experienced and committed Emergency Vets to join our strong team at AEC Moorabbin. Our purpose is to save pets’ lives using the highest standards of emergency and critical care medicine and surgery, delivered professionally and compassionately. Responsibilities Provide emergency and critical care to injured and ill animals. Work scheduled shifts, including weekends and public holidays, rotating shifts to optimise fairness. Collaborate closely with other AEC sites for industry‑leading training, mentorship and support. Participate in supervised shifts and a modular induction program. Qualifications Veterinary degree available for registration in Victoria. At least 2 years’ experience, with previous emergency veterinary experience highly desirable. Ability to remain calm, show compassion in stressful situations and communicate effectively with colleagues, pet owners and referring veterinarians.
