Program Lead Doctors in Secondary Schools Murray Primary Health Network – Bendigo VIC The Opportunity Join Murray PHN as the Program Lead for the Doctors in Secondary Schools (DiSS) program, influence health system design and make a tangible impact on youth health outcomes. You’ll lead program implementation and integration across our region, working with schools, health providers, and internal teams to ensure continuity of a quality DiSS service care and quality improvement. Key Accountabilities Lead the ongoing implementation, management, and evaluation of the DiSS program, ensuring compliance with funder expectations. Drive continuous quality improvement and refine program strategies to meet emerging health reforms. Develop and maintain partnerships to support alternative workforce models and service continuity. Integrate DiSS with broader primary health care initiatives, including mental health, AOD, and digital health. Oversee contract management, risk assessment, and financial processes for program delivery. Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and performance monitoring aligned with organisational standards. About You You’re a big picture thinker who uses your influencing skills to create high quality health outcomes for young people. Your deep understanding of our region, shaped by living and working in the Murray PHN catchment, helps you navigate the complex challenges impacting rural and regional health. This role suits someone with strong collaborative leadership capabilities and a commitment to culturally safe and inclusive health systems. Key Capabilities Degree or equivalent qualification in health or related field, with 5+ years’ relevant experience. Expertise in planning, implementing, and evaluating complex health programs. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across sectors. Proven ability in contract and risk management, compliance oversight, and quality improvement. Analytical and reporting capability, including data governance and performance monitoring. A connection with the Murray PHN catchment, our values and vision.
