Legionella Risk Assessor – Cambridge

Our client a well‑established multi‑disciplined consultancy with a nationwide presence is currently seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy workforce in and around the Cambridge area. Undertaking duties such as undertaking legionella risk assessments following ACOP L8, providing recommendations and prices for remedial works and carrying out works based on the risk assessments. Applications from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Newmarket, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Ideally the applicant must have attended relevant Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds or alternatively attended internal training courses. Extensive experience working within this role – carrying out Legionella risk assessments and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using the Microsoft office package. Role Undertake Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments. Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents. Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments. Monthly temperature testing and water sampling. Carrying out surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8. Collating and producing accurate reports. Building a strong working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
