Nurse Educator (Primary Care) Melbourne West DKSH Healthcare welcomes a Nurse Educator to build a brand-new Nurse Team. This role focuses on supporting nurses and primary care professionals by raising awareness of chronic disease states and treatment options. The position is field‑based, full‑time, Monday‑Friday business hours, and located in Melbourne West (no country travel). Responsibilities Provide support to nurses and other primary care professionals by raising awareness of a specific chronic disease state and the treatment options and support available to their patients. Plan, organize and facilitate educational presentations to groups of primary care professionals. Conduct 1‑on‑1 teaching sessions. Collaborate with a dynamic national team environment. Contribute to a successful national project, share ideas and make a difference to patients' lives. Ideal Candidate Registered Nurse with evidence of AHPRA registration. Full Australian driver’s licence. Strong commercial and business acumen. Preferred nursing experience within a primary care setting. Excellent communication (oral and written), engagement and presentation skills. Passionate, driven, positive and adaptable. Self‑motivated to work autonomously and with a team.
