Senior Occupational Therapist

Job Description We are expanding ourOccupational Therapy team and would love to welcome experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapists eager to be part of a multidisciplinary team and make a difference. You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role. Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living inthe following areas (depending on where you live)Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Central Coast and surrounding areas. We support participants across the lifespan, you can choose the age group you'd like to worth with Responsibilities will include: Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals Mentor and nurture early career clinicians Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance What's in it for you?
