We're Hiring: Office Coordinator – Catering Business (Permanent Part-Time, 3+ Days/Week) Location: Caulfield (Kitchen Office) | Daytime Office Hours + Occasional Events Start Date: 19 January Are you a hospitality all-rounder who loves the buzz of events but is just as comfortable running a smooth and efficient office? We're looking for a confident, go-getter Office Coordinator to join our busy catering team in Caulfield . This is the perfect role for a hospitality veteran who still wants a foot in the door of a thriving catering business while stepping into a stable daytime office role. About the Role A permanent part-time position (minimum 3 days/week) based in our Caulfield kitchen office, working closely with the Director and Head Chef. You'll be the organised, proactive support person who keeps everything moving. Your responsibilities will include: Managing supplier invoices and preparing them for accounts processing Receipt allocation and light financial admin Email and phone communication with clients, suppliers, and partners General office coordination and support to the Director & Head Chef Managing and growing our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) Assisting with event set-ups Working at events in a waiter role when required Occasional evening and weekend work for events (flexibility is essential) Must be available to work evening and weekend events as needed Requirements: A confident, energetic multi-tasker with strong initiative Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong with numbers and detail‑oriented with invoices/financial admin Confident and creative with social media content, engagement, and posting Customer‑focused, friendly, and professional Able to drive (required for errands, deliveries, and event set‑ups) Must hold a full driver's licence for errands, deliveries, and event set‑ups Minimum 5+ years of hospitality/event experience required Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can juggle tasks with ease Reliable, organised, and committed to high standards Why You'll Love Working With Us Daytime office hours for the majority of your shifts A supportive, close‑knit team Variety across office work, events, customer service, and content creation A chance to stay connected to the hospitality world without full‑time nights A dynamic role where no two days are the same If you're a natural organiser with a passion for hospitality and want a role that blends office coordination, events, and social media, we'd love to hear from you.
