Experienced heavy vehicle drivers also encouraged to apply About The Role We currently have multiple positions available for Casual Bus Drivers at our Bulahdelah depot. We are looking for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community, whilst delivering the best experience possible to our customers. We currently operate bus service contracts for Transport for NSW in Western Sydney, North Shore and West, Central Coast and North Coast and the South Australian Public Transport Authority in Adelaide’s Outer South. With a team of more than 2,800 people, committed to transporting over 47 million passenger journeys each year, we pride ourselves on taking a proactive approach to public transport delivery to ensure that the customer journey is seamless as possible. Hours of work Hours of work and shifts vary from depot to depot. Our casual drivers typically work a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon during the school term. In school holidays there is very limited work available. These hours are often suited to retirees wanting to re-enter the workforce or supplement income. It is also a fantastic opportunity for people working part‑time and wanting more hours. Eligibility to apply A current and valid unrestricted driver’s licence (Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid Licence highly desired but not essential) A good driving history Strong communication and customer service skills Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check.
