We’re looking for a hands‑on Workshop Manager to lead our busy service workshop, overseeing all day‑to‑day operations and ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency across every job. About the Role As the Workshop Manager , you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all workshop activities — from repairs and maintenance to the assembly of new machines. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of leadership, working closely with technicians and customers to ensure the highest standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support workshop technicians and apprentices. Oversee daily workflow, job allocation, and workshop scheduling. Manage pre‑delivery and assembly of new machines. Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and time requirements. Liaise with the Service Manager and Parts Department to coordinate job requirements. Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment. About You Proven experience in a workshop environment — ideally with construction or heavy equipment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic abilities. Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
