As Venue Manager at Sorrento Beach Club , you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue, overseeing FOH, bar, functions, and guest experience. You’ll be the key on-the-floor leader, supporting supervisors, managing service flow, and ensuring every guest leaves happy. This role is dynamic, people-focused, and highly visible — perfect for a confident hospitality leader who enjoys making quick decisions in a busy service environment. What You’ll Be Doing Overseeing daily venue operations across FOH, bar, and functions Acting as the main escalation point for guests, team, and operational issues Leading service flow, shift transitions, and team coordination Supporting supervisors and leaders with coaching, feedback, and hands‑on help Running pre‑shift briefings and managing break schedules Ensuring exceptional guest experiences, including VIPs and group bookings Maintaining venue presentation — music, lighting, cleanliness, and setup Managing safety, RSA, compliance, and incident procedures Conducting opening and closing checks and reporting issues as needed About You Proven experience as a Venue Manager / Assistant Venue Manager / Senior Supervisor Confident leading large teams in a high-volume hospitality environment Strong service focus with a calm, solutions‑driven approach Comfortable being on the floor and leading by example Excellent communication and organisational skillsAble to work nights, weekends, and public holidays Passionate about hospitality, people, and beachside vibes Requirements RSA (or willing to obtain) Approved Manager Card (or willing to obtain) First Aid & Fire Warden (training may be provided) Why Join Sorrento Beach Club?
