Head of Finance,
you will be:Ensuring senior business managers actively manage financial performance in order to minimise risk and increase the success and operational efficiencies to deliver objectives.Providing clear guidance, and advice on financial management ensuring compliance to legislation and good practice in order to deliver financial performance.Reporting and prepare information for the Executive, Directors and other key stakeholders, to support decision making, business planningEnsuring accurate management and statutory accounting information is recorded, maintained and reported to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and robust decision making.Build strong working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.Managing the finance function to include performance management, recruitment and development of quality people ensuring your teams are appropriately skilled and qualified to meet business needsManagement and contributing to projects and change programmes in support of the company s values and objectives.WHAT YOU NEEDTo be considered for the role of
Head of Finance ,
you will need:Previous experience in a similar Senior Finance role in a regulated industry e.g. Built environment, Energy Sector, Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecommunications, etc.Must be fully ACCA or CIMA qualifiedProven experience of managing a financial services function in a large, complex organisationProven track record of demonstrating commercial acumen, achieving resultsWorking knowledge of financial regulations and good practice principlesProven experience of undertaking statutory and management accountingCommercial and current, with a growth mindset. Used to an agile environment, managing change, with process improvement and business transformation experience.Some experience of managing acquisitions and business integrationComprehensive experience of managing and developing peopleAnalytical approach with Advanced knowledge of ExcelProven experience of working with Board, Committee members, Senior Managers and DirectorsIf you are interested in becoming a
