We are hiring a Personal Care Worker for the modern 136‑bed Residential Aged Care Home, The Ormsby, located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. Role As a Personal Care Worker you will provide assistance to our residents ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices. Responsibilities Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling. Assistance at mealtimes such as food and drink preparation and feeding if required. Encouraging residents to engage in various social activities. Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting and personal care such as dressing, grooming and oral care. Qualifications & Attributes Experience in aged care role highly regarded. Understanding of person‑centred care. Strong, clear verbal and written English skills. Collaborative approach to teamwork. Willingness to take direction and follow instructions / compliance. Confident, friendly and professional approach to team and residents. Compliance Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support or similar with the relevant aged care units completed. Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.).
