Breakfast is arguably the most important meal of the day – and we couldn't agree more We're on the lookout for experienced Breakfast Chefs who are passionate about crafting delicious, high-quality breakfasts and pastries to fuel our residents for the day ahead. You don’t need previous FIFO experience – but bulk cooking experience, the ability to work independently, and strong time management skills are essential. If you love creating breakfast favourites and take pride in starting someone's day on the right note – we want to hear from you The Role Breakfast & Pastry Experience Buffet style bulk cooking experience Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room attendants Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness inaccordance with Compass standards The Person Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery Bulk Catering Experience Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines Able to pass Pre-Employment Medicals National Police Clearance (within 6 months) The Benefits You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
