With over 70 restaurants now open across Australia and many more on the horizon, more and more people are wanting to be a part of the Betty's experience We are now seeking a highly skilled hospitality professional with a knowledge of fast paced food & beverage operations to step into the role of Operations Excellence Manager to take ownership of our operational processes and systems, ensuring every Betty’s Burgers restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and consistently as we continue to grow. This isn’t a passive documentation role, it’s an active ownership positionwhere you’ll define our process strategy, drive performance, and ensure our operations deliver maximum value improving efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, and the guest experience across the brand. Key Responsibilities Define and own the process vision, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and governance frameworks that align with Betty’s strategic goals Lead process improvement initiatives, driving automation, simplification, and standardisation across store operations Embed monitoring processes to ensure performance, compliance and effectiveness Champion operations excellence frameworks across the business, building alignment between Support Office teams and Operations. Drive operational planning for business cycles, trading initiatives, promotions, new products, system changes, and evolving ways of working. Evolve standard operating procedures for restaurants including store routines, customer service standards, and team workflows ensuring they are not only implemented but culturally embedded Act as the hub between Support Office departments (Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, People & Culture) and the restaurant network, ensuring clarity and alignment on initiatives Lead or support business transformation initiatives, including new system rollouts, technology upgrades, and new store format launches Provide operational support to restaurant operational leaders, offering tools and resources to resolve issues and prevent recurrence Monitor and report on operational performance, partnering with Finance to track key KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement Success Criteria Hands-on retail or hospitality operations experience with a demonstrated drive for excellence Proven experience in a central operations, process improvement, or multi-site management role Strong background in process design and change management Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams A curious problem-solving mindset and an eye for continuous improvement A genuine passion for people, process, and delivering an exceptional guest experience Benefits Be part of a growing, proudly Australian brand with a cult following Collaborate with passionate teams who love what they do 12 weeks Paid Parental Leave for Primary Carer Community Service Leave A day off for your birthday Ready to lead the engine room of Betty’s Burgers operations?
